ZemewLAN is a future project we’re building toward through our other paths under the Zemew name. As Hosting, Studios, and Wire grow, money will be set aside—or budgeted—for leasing or building a facility for 100–1,000 person LAN festivals with the sole intent of raising money for children’s charities, veterans, and many more.
I realize this goal is a long way off, but with your support in helping us network and grow, we can all help make a difference in this world.
Early concepts and ideas for future ZemewLAN facilities, layouts, stages, and community spaces.
The first initial build will be to support Zemew. Zemew Hosting, Studios & Wire will be worked out of a facility like this. Then starting with once a year, growing to 4 times a year, the interior will be modified to host a 100 person LAN event.
This location might be 5 acres in size, parking for boondocking RV's, have a walking track around the perimeter and the owners residence in the corner of the lot.
Future Expansion would entail a 20+ acre parcel for multiple barns to be constructed and utilized for Zemew Hosting, Studios and Wire. At this point the original, single barn, would be converted into an administration and school house to host workshops and classes, to teach locals and those willing to learn and progress themselves, the different avenues of technology. Diving deep into creativity, security and infrastructure.
The three new barns would then host, once a year with a goal of quarterly, LAN Conventions to start at 100 person LAN Events and to scale to 1,000 person LAN Events. One barn being the LAN, the 2nd barn being the sponsor and vendor area and the 3rd barn to be the stage, food, lounge and hang out area.
Parking would be available for all attendees, including RV parking (boondocking only) and car camping areas. port-o-poties would be setup. A walking path around the parcel would be available for stretching your legs and proper lighting so there wouldn't be any dark spots for those pesky Dementors to reside.
Keeping the interior as clean, open and modular as possible would be key to being able to adapt to change as needed to continue progression and keep higher levels of efficiency. This also allows for less stress, better thinking, increased productivity and a happier working environment.
Keeping these things in mind could also create extra space for expansion in developing programs with the local community to assist in creating a spark, to generate hope while giving back.
